Create the Best Brow

The Perfect BrowThere are three basic points of reference for defining your brows at home. Everyone’s brows are unique, so follow these points as a general guide to create ab-fab arches.

THE INNER CORNER

This is where your brow should start. Lean your pencil against your nostril on the side you're measuring.  Holding it straight up, it should pass through the inner corner of your eye and onto your brow. The point where it touches your brow is where it should begin. If your brows don’t reach this point, extend lightly with brow powder. If you exceed this point, tweeze excess hairs one by one.

THE PEAK

There should be a visible highest point to your arch. Keep the pencil against your nostril as in step one and point it so that it crosses your eye, passing just outside of your pupil and up onto the brow. Where it crosses the brow should be the highest point. Between the inner corner and the peak, it should all be roughly the same thickness and should taper after this point.

THE OUTER CORNER

Begin with the pencil against your nostril again and direct it towards the outer corner of your eye. The point where it intersects with your brow is where it should end. Most people fall short of this point, so use an angled brush and some brow powder to extend the line of your brow if need be.
